Lovely restaurant overlooking the main square in Ile Rousse (complete with boule players), serving pizzas and a variety of meat dishes. We had pizza, Regina and Asku (anchovies and capers), both of which were delicious. The meal was very well priced with good local wine at decent price too. At the end of the meal, we asked about taxis back to Monticello. The owner then made several phone calls and secured us a taxi, which was very kind. Highly recommended for good atmosphere, service and quality of food.

We had a good experience at La Cave, visited twice during our stay in Corsica. We were happy with the food and the convenient online reservation system, which isn't common here. On one occasion, we had a small delay with our dessert, but it was a minor misunderstanding that didn't detract from our positive visit.

We had an excellent experience at La Cave Bar à Viande in L’Île-Rousse. The staff were warm and attentive, the service was smooth, and the menu offered plenty of tempting options. We tried the burgers (the Double Smash and the “Historique”) and both were outstanding, juicy, flavorful, and perfectly cooked. The superior red wine paired beautifully with the meal, and the chocolate mousse was simply divine, the kind of dessert you don’t forget. All in all, La Cave delivers on every level: great food, a welcoming atmosphere, and efficient service. A spot I can wholeheartedly recommend!
